This post is about gratitude . Even though we are in a global crisis situation right now, most of us live a quite comfortable life. We have enough support to serve our basic needs, especially in Europe. We can use this time to remember our values with less distraction. even nature seems to recover, shining in brighter colours. In Guatemala, for example, people are not that lucky. Still, they are supporting each other, making the best out of the situation. Schooling is impossible there, at the moment.

Other parts of the world, face the challenge of survival. So, what are we grateful for, today ? In contrast : The survival mode (libing in continous fear) keeps our physical system in alert. Without regeneration, it is not a healthy state of being. Stresshormones like cortisol are released from their specific hormone centers. Regeneration like good sleep and relaxation is necessary to recover. Meditation boosts our immune system. Many studies have underlined this fact.

Let’s make our days brighter, be respectful and reflect our true needs and wishes for ourselves and all beings on this planet. In my opinion, we should not forget to preserve nature. If we did that with a third of the global ocean, for example, the marine life would recover within a few years and the variety of species would be safe.  So, what do you appreciate, today ?
